    45 basic brass

    Anyone know anything about Swedish made RCBS stamped 45 basic brass? I came across a box and don’t know much about it.

    That's definitely worth having! Many obsolete cartridge cases can be formed from basic brass, and it's not easy to find. Swedish-made stuff is usually first rate.

    Of course it worth something -- as are most things. Go to the "Swappin' and Sellin" portion of the forum and offer it for sale. I bet it will be gone in record time. You just have to find out what it's worth to set a price you'll sell if for. Decide if that price includes or excludes shipping costs.

    I think the Swedish company Norma made some of the 45 basic brass. Huntington's in California may carry it.But maybe by a different maker. I seem to remember Bell labs did some brass like that also.Frank
