    Question Unstake a sight?

    Folks,

I need to drift the front sight of my Ishapore Enfield. It appears to be staked. How do I go about "unstaking" it?

You don’t. When you tap it with a non marring punch it will unstake itself. Those little stake marks are witness markers for windage from when it was sighted in at the factory.
