Glimpses only... Last sat hit 68. Sunday was nice not as nice tho. Yesterday it was almost 70... but by 15:00 it was closer to 40 and thick fog. Same fog this am. Its soup! Cannot see 50 yards round here!!!

Makes me wanna go deer hunting, I love deer hunting in fog and drizzle like this!!

Welp........ our forecast has been adjusted yet again, between tomorrow morning and friday morning, we are expected to get between 22 inches on the low side to 35" on the high side. it was 73 here yesterday...... SoDak spring. I feel really bad for the ranchers that are all calving right now. I am guessing we will have major losses.

Along with the budding trees, young folks running around without shirts and generally warm temps, I just found a baby copperhead in a mess of straw. My dog helps me "spread it around" and the snake took advantage. Yes it's dead now. Close to Ft Knox Ky.
Most of the tanks are gone and the windows don't rattle anymore. I won't be able to sleep now.

Pick some winter onions today . Maple trees are flowers ,day Lilly are up now and the 13 strip ground squirrels are show there self. Turkey vultures are here for about 2 weeks now. The raspberries are start to leaf out now when I had prune them yesterday and the day before.

Another inch of the awful white stuff just fell. Lots of us outdoor working folk are getting a bit grumpy with a never ending mud season. Come on Real Spring. I've got a new float boat once the ice disappears.

Spring arrival has been announced in Central Texas by blue bonnets & rattlers. Nice warm days & only slightly cool nights.

It was here today! Bright blue skies, a bit of wind and when I went to tinker in the shed I had to have the AC on....

    "Anyone seen spring?"
Darn right and its under 6" of wonderful white April snow as we type. LOL.
At the end of this (midmonth) week last year we had more snow and bad conditions than we are gonna get this year.
Spring in MN isn't so bad.
