    Anyone seen spring?

NW Ohio, temp in low 20s tonight with snow and wind. Well at least the colder temps means the rain will stop. I was drawn for an early season turkey hunt next weekend. If it doesn't warmup some i will be loading ammo not hunting next weekend.

Briefly, for a several days the past week. Nothing budding yet but the majority of the snow disappeared. Tonight it's blowing snow, but it's halfhearted and not sticking around.
I need some warm weather for our grass runways at the flying club to dry up, hopefully we'll have a better spring than last year's cool and wet one.

Looking pretty good on the Gulf Coast and we had robins arrive last week in SE New Mexico.

We are having a cold spell right now, for a few days. The last few weeks have been nice. The Robins are out, we have a few Martins, the Doves are making noises and the trees have buds on them. I have been seeing Frogs and Snakes. The Farmers are working.

Snow flurries this morning, big wet flakes. Sunshine this afternoon, so not too unusual for this time of year in Kansas.

Bikerbeans, here in Medina County there's 3" of snow, hope you're fairing better. I'm supposed to go look at some property over by Vermilion today.
I kinda think that's not gonna happen.

I left New Orleans when spring arrived.

Came home to winter prison in Fargo ND.
Icicles on all the windows, snow piled 6 and 7 feet high.

Icicles are all gone, I saw bare ground yesterday which had 4 feet of snow on it a month ago. She's working her way north but gets distracted from time to time.

She'll show up eventually. Ol Mr Sun has a lot more power this time of year. Ol man winter is retreating, but as normal it is a fighting retreat. Still the sun will come, the grass will turn green, I suspect we'll see some water this year. Melt has come fairly fast for us.

The part I miss is that spring used to hang around through May and maybe into early June. These days we get full summer the last 2 weeks of May and June can be hot.

The pecan trees have leaves. It is Spring.

Put our garden in last week or some of it. Beets, potatoes, broccholi, lettuce etc. Stuff that won't mind a mild freeze. Rototilled the rest of the garden yesterday as it was almost 75 out. Daffodils gone buy, Magnolia's are blooming.

Here in Western New York we heard peepers for the first time last night. Good luck on your Turkey hunt.

This morning, 4/1, the ground is white. No April Fool's joke. Spozed to be in the 50's tomorrow. And MLB is underway. Go Yankees!
