Owe i have been wanting to try that. Simmilar Accurate #2 and Tight Group. I used to use a lot of Tight Group in 9mm. Switched to Unique in pistols. But i love Tight Group 12g and in riffle rounds. I would roll with the Tight Group loadings. I normally use 3.5g of Tg in 9mm. According to Shooters world reloading manual, 4.2g is the max charge for 125g Jacket bullet. So my max load would 4.2g, I would drop down to around 3g and work up in .3g increments.

Side note, Ultimate Pistol is supposed to be simmilar to Unique....

    thanks for the input ...
Have been trying it out in my forty s+w , seems to do nicely ..very fine grain , measures much more accurately.

i have been playing around with clean shot in 357 mag. looking for it to replace tite group. so far it has worked well as a tite group replacement in 357 mag rifle loads with 125 and 158 gr bullets. clean shot is very clean. i did a clean test with it. i shot 30 rounds through a cleanmarlin 1894 cb in 357 mag. ran a patch and it came out with very little black on it.

Where did you find data for tight group in rifle? I been kicking the idea around myself. Just not finding any data on it.

I did not find a published load. I had to break my own ground. I used Quick loads to find a safe starting point. Then i worked up.

Wouldnt clean shot, tightgroup or #2 be too fast for 357 mag? Maybe for some medium power loads that would work but I would prefer something slower as in #7 , #9, H110/W296, long shot etc

.357 Mag was a published load from Hodgdon.

I load clean shot in 40 S&W for light powder puff minor loads & 200 gr bullets. 2.8 gr gets me a nice easy 675 fps for a 136 PF and runs my 1911 just fine.. if I want major I load 3.7-3.9 gr with the same 200 gr Bear creeks. It makes 166 with 3.7, 168 with 3.8, & 171 with 3.9. Using RP 5 1/2 primers and Winchester once fired brass.
