A .45 auto case with a drilled hole, a cup hook screw and some old varnish hardened into a “10grains of Unique” powder scoop that goes with several cartridges that I load for.

That looks way prettier than the one I made out of a cut down 12ga. shell with a masking tape handle
for measuring 65 grains of holy black.

Ed, that made me recall my first muzzleloader.
I didn’t know how much black powder to use for it.
My usually grim old great uncle said to take a paper plate(indoors or out of the wind) and place the round ball in the center. Then gently pour powder on the ball until it’s covered in a mound of powder.
Then fold the plate to pour the powder into a pill bottle and mark it.
    It works.

I have made powder dippers from many different things fired cases tubing even paper. A mandrel paper and glue can make a powder dipper

Wrap paper one wrap around mandrel and mark. you need a strip to make 3-4 wraps around mandrel remove and coat the long end lightly with glue. Wrap around mandrel starting with the unglued end. clip in 6-8 even spaces around and fold over end of mandrel gluing as you go. remove and let dry. cut a paper disc and glue inside to seal bottom. a strip of paper cut narrower then the cup glue and wrap around again three to 4 wraps I have gone to 6. The light coating of glue stiffens the paper and makes a nice dipper. When done let cure completely and paint.

Mash foil into your spare Lee dippers with the appropriate sized nail head.

    Easy-peasy and very adjustable.

I made/have one similar to yours, 'cept I added what I deemed "an ingenious feature"! To wit, I drilled out the cases primer pocket and threaded it: 10-32. Then, I put a nut on a 10-32 by 3/4" long bolt and screwed it in from the bottom. The amount of the bolt which could be put into the case just by screwing it in or out makes for an adjustable fixed powder measure. The nut on the bolt gets tightened to keep whatever setting one sets. Bion, it really works well!
