    Baltimoreed,

Very Nice Rifle! I see it has a British Enfield web sling. I have a few of them also on my Krag rifles.

I’ve got a nobuckle sling on my ‘03 and a mills on my Constabulary krag.[repros] I don’t ever shoulder carry them but find that I can slide my off hand up against the swivel between the stock and sling to get a tighter offhand grip.

Hopefully some brass will come your way. In a pinch I had good luck resizing .303 Brit. Little short in the neck but ok.

    That's an amazing find!

Hornady made a run of 30-40 krag ammuntion and brass last year, you should still be able to find it around.

Personally, I had poor luck with it trying to run it through an 1895. It just wouldn't feed right through the magazine and kept hanging up on the feedlips (yes I was loading them down and back), i'm not sure if someone had dickered the mag at one point or if the rims on the hornady were just a little too big but something was wrong in the equation. I doubt you'll have problems with the Krag.

Powder Valley has both Hornady and Winchester 30-40 brass for sale. The Winchester Brass if $24.95 for 50, not to bad. I have been using the Winchester brand in my Krag and it is working well.

Powder Valley shows both brands of 30-40 brass as "Out of Stock"
