WTS Lyman 433 Mold, No handles, $50.00 shipped

Price drop to $40.00 shipped. This is an old Lyman 433 mold. I got this about 10 years ago with a large bunch of molds, kept some, sold others. Why I kept this one, I'll never know. Don't own a 44 caliber gun. Probably just forgot about it. Anyway, I think I am the only person to ever have cast with it, about 10 lbs of lead. I ran across this in my things, along with some cast balls. Weighed them out and they come in at about 118 grains, .432 diameter. Now, I usually cast round ball with pure lead, but when I used my Lee Hardness tester, they came in around 12 BHN. What I had in mind, I'll never know. Anyway, I have no use for this. Good, clean mold, a little dried oil on the corners/cavities, sharp edges. $50.00 shipped to your door.

I have one of these moulds.
You can double stack these round balls in a 44 magnum case that makes a good self-defense load, that will deliver 2 balls per shot and is no slouch for penetration.

Yes, we used to use triple ball loads in our .38s and .357s, 1st round up, when I was in law enforcement. A quick close shot defense if you were surprised by someone meaning you harm.
