    Star BM for cast bullets

For people who own them, what is the general consensus on the Star BM. I'm thinking about getting one and looking around at different web sites there isn't a lot of in depth information as far as accuracy is concerned. If you own one of these pistols, what is your opinion on reliability, accuracy etc. Thx in Advance.

Factory they were never designed to feed anything but 115gr FMJ. Little feed ramp work and mine eats anything. Shoots cast as good as any of my other 9mm.

Accuracy will depend on the gun, looks like all the nice handpicked ones are gone, so down to the lower grades available.

You'll kick yourself later if you don't buy one.

I'm shooting the same thing in my Star BM that I shoot in all my nines; the Lee 358-125-RF. I tumble-lube it, and size to 358.

The one I have isn't a target pistol, but shoots just fine.

I had one years ago and found it shot quite well, never should have let myself get talked out of it. I used the Lyman 356402 cast of COWWs, sized .356, lubed with Javelina and loaded over 4 gr Bullseye.
