Here's my 1898 Krag. I know... the front band is on backwards. I fixed that but not taken a new photo.Attachment 238218

Thanks for posting that, obviously I failed at the "CUT & PASTE" test today
... I guess I have to leave the OP unedited now

This old M48 Yugo was given to me by a good friend, still full of cosmoline & in box with bayonet and frog with rod and cleaning bag of goodies. Took some work to get the cosmoline all gone and then I modded it a bit, just to cool the barrel and look different from others.

This is a 244 grain PC'd cast in magizine over some 180 grain jacketed soft points, looks long but they fit fine and chamber with .035" to spare before the lands.

Being chicken as I am...this is how I test fired my first round.

    Gorgeous rifle!

I upload to ImGur and most generally upload at 800 X 600 pixel but at times I forget to check that tab so it goes up full size...

This was my truck gun when I was young and in High School. I had worked at a dairy farm and cattle ranch and I used to carry it in my pickup truck at the time. That was way back in a era when you could put guns on the rear cab gun rack and even drive to and from high school with it there too. Anyway it is an old 1936 vintage Carcano carbine in 6.5mm caliber. A gunsmith had a scope mount that fit it so I could mount a scope on it. That was a good thing as the iron sights are set for a 300 meters zero, rendering them pretty useless if you aren't in a war. Anyway, I did get to shoot three coyotes with it. Nothing fancy as I was a high school kid at the time with little money to spend on it. If I remember right, the rifle cost $29.95 (or was it less, I forget) at the time too. My mother had to buy it for me too. God bless our mothers.
