    lyman crimp die?

im loading for a Sharps in 45-70 using RCBS cowboy dies and using a very small flare for bullet seating. would a Lyman black powder crimp die do anything to straighten out any flare or do you thing the bullet seater is doing it enough? I have about .039 of the grease groove exposed on my bullet. Shooting smokeless at the moment.

    Lyman Taper Crimp Die

I just bought the Lyman Taper Crimp Die for my 45/70 black powder loads. The die works perfectly for removing case mouth belling. Good luck.

Take the decaying pin out of the sizing die and ease the round into it.

I just bought a Lyman 45/70 Crimp Die, works great, beats Re indexing my seating Die.
