I would hazard a guess that like every swap box before it.....it has been stolen.
An old Cherokee was teaching his grandson about life. "Inside me two wolves fight," he told the boy.
"One is evil - he is anger, envy, greed, arrogance, self-pity, resentment, lies, false pride, and ego. The other is good - he is joy, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, generosity, truth and faith. The same fight is inside you - and every other person, too."
The grandson thought for a minute and asked,"Which wolf will win?"
The old Cherokee replied, "The one you feed."

Sadly I suspect either that, or forgotten about and folks moved on. Mostly junk anyways.

Yes, the concept is great! Unfortunately it devolves into recipients "cherry picking" the good stuff and replacing them with lesser items. Perhaps the last recipient decided it wasn't worth the cost of mailing to forward the box of mostly useless items. Just my opinion.

Yeah, it helps to make a quick spreadsheet & figure the value of what you take, then add assorted gooodies & cool stuff you don't need but others will. Check the value of put in. then add till it's about 120-150% of the take. Isn't that part of the concept?

That is how it is supposed to work...but not how it always does work. The last box I got (several years ago) contained a lot of unusable (literally) items. Even with the stuff I put in the box it to increase the value, it probably had limited appeal. Again, in my opinion, unless you claim the box in the early rounds, you will not be happy with the contents. I do hope this trend can be reversed.

I'd suggest you send No_1 a PM with the details on when it went lost and who lost it. He may be able to help.
