Range pick up left on the wood stove overnight (wet from the snow)-worried I annealed it. I doubt it got that hot, but I really don’t know. I generally make 30-06 brass into 8mm x 57.

I wouldnt trust it. Annealing is a product of time and temp. 600 degrees for just a few seconds or 400-450 for a much longer amount of time. Only you can say how hot your stove might have gotten. However, Yes I was given brass with the information known, I would go straight to the scrap bucket with it.
OK, thank you. I’m trying to post a picture but I’m having trouble. The brass is quite green.

My guess, unfortunately, would be yes. Those stoves can get pretty hot, definitely hot enough to anneal. You'd know best how hot you run yours though.
I did the exact same thing once, and ended up tossing it all out. As others have said, it's just not worth the risk.
Thanks again guys. Photo upload is down, but it sounds like you get the picture. I appreciate it.

Crush it so no one else can inadvertently re-use it and scrap it.

Put in in the scrap bucket.

Annealing colors in order from coolest to hottest are light straw, yellow, green, blues, purples, reds and oranges. If you have a light green tint its been annealed. Even at green for 8-12 hours its been annealed way more than I would be comfortable with using. Especially if the color is in the case head primer area.
There is more than one way to recycle brass !!! Do you know any Swagers/Bulletmakers ?
Good Judgment comes from Experience, Experience comes from Bad Judgment !
I scrapped a bunch of .223 by putting in the oven and the temp control didn't work right. I do anneal cases, but not like that. Cheaper in the long run to start over.
