    Swiss loading tool

    Found this on evil bay.
I thought I posted for all here to see, but can't find it now.
Probably because I posted the link instead of picture.

    Interestnig.
Looks like it's used to load the paper K31 mags.
    But I'm not sure.
    Wish I could afford it.
    I'm a tool junky.

The cardboard chargers are very easy to load. This is for the MG 51.

Here’s a video of the loader in action. It’s pretty slick: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=gy0c2yLOrz0

    That is so cool.
I once had a loader for cloth belt for a Browning.

Had the wood box and all.
Never loaded a belt with it.
    Sold it to a friend.

I'm rather surprised the hopper isn't larger for a machine gun loader.

My wife's uncle, long since past on, was in WWII, he told me about how he loaded cloth belts for the 30-06. That Swiss loader is an engineering marvel. Especially how the belt segments snap into the extractor groove to keep all the cartridges aligned at the correct length.
