    Dillon Powder Measure Quick Disconnect

I made a couple of powder measure quick disconnects for my dillon measures.

Started with 3/8 aluminum I dug out of my stuff. This piece measured 1.43x1.93.

    Drilled 3/4" dia and counterbored 7/8 × .17 deep.

Cut in half, dress with a file.

Spot the holes with a drill bit, center punch, then drilled .190.

Found a spring in my stuff and cut it in half to .6 long. Added (2) 1.5 x 10-24 socket head cap screws.

Works great. I though I would add a screw as a little grab tab, but being 1.9" wide it sticks out enough to grab from both sides easily.

Happiness is a couple of 38's and a bucket of ammo.

Nice build, just bought 2 from a guy who makes them to sell on ebay. His has a little pull tab to unlock them. I use multiple Dillon measures and swap them around depending on what caliber and what press I’m reloading on. Makes my pistol reloading a little simpler.

Slick, simply enough even I could make it.

Knowledge I take to my grave is wasted.

I prefer to use cartridges born before I was.

Success doesn't make me happy, being happy is what allows me to be successful.

There are 3D printed and machined ones on the market. ($15 & $25)

I was trying to think of a way to make the stepped shoulder with the tools I have and then realized that making a full circle was the easiest clamping solution.

I've got 2 measures and load 8 different cartridges. 1 measure is set up with a small powder bar and 1 with a large bar. I move them around constantly, but at least I didn't end up buying 8 of them. Now moving them or just dumping powder is really quick.
Happiness is a couple of 38's and a bucket of ammo.
