    What Happened to Ranch Dog?

What Happened to Ranch Dog? We were having such a good time working on loading slugs and then he just disappeared?

Calling Ranch Dog, where are you?

I asked him the same question a few weeks ago. While he is "retired" he has a ranch to run so I guess not really retired.

I always enjoy his posts so was hoping he'd stick with us a while. He'll likely be back though.

He said he would be busy with something as I recall. New job???
He does a lot, aside from killing hogs. Also does the Rossi Forum as well.

Yep to all of the above and thank you for the welfare check!

As far as my slug stuff goes, I've been sticking with the STI Hammerhead loaded with the MEC Slugger. I'm still using Longshot and have not tested the powders I have traded into Blue Dot and SR4756. Since I last posted, the weather here just has not been suitable for load testing.

I did sling a hammerhead at a small hog, maybe 50#, and 100 yards away. I missed. It was late at night under a Boar Light, that's how it goes. I finally have some daylight hogs but have not done anything about it. I have family and extended family visiting and don't want to get chasing them right now as I want to just one of the large sows with the Hammerhead. It will be a 100-yard shot from a tower blind.

I'm glad to hear Michael "Ranch Dog" Reamy is doing well.

I still have some of his original "Ranch Dog"molds. I kept in touch with him often prior to buying my first mold, the 311-165 for my 30-30.

Now, IF we can only convince Michael to design a few new 12 and 20 gauge slug molds...........lol!
