    .224 X 800 or .930 jackets

    Looking to swage heavier than 55 or so grain bullets and, other than rimfire cases, cannot seem to locate a source for 800 or 930 length jackets in 224 caliber. For now, I'll use 22 mag cases but would like to compare rf to 'store bought' (J4's) jackets. Leads would be appreciated...

    Talked to Bart who gets his from Hines; Hines dosn't make them (no matter what their website says) and Bart does not have a source for the longer jackets.

    A distinct possibility, EXCEPT at least one more punch to add to the accumulation and I only want/need to make a feww heavy 224's to experiment with for now... Was hoping to find longer jackets but 705's are all that is readily available.

    Great! After spending a bunch on dies to draw 6mm jackets to 22 caliber and then needing to trim same Corbin sells the .930's for (about) a dime apiece. Could have bought 2 or 3 thousand of his for the cost of the dies...
