I got my mold today, it looks great. We will have to do this again. Nothing against MP, but they take too much time and too much money. A quick and inexpensive group buy like this makes perfect sense.

I ordered a 32 dewc from arsenal a couple weeks ago. I recieved it yesterday. I didn’t know which one I had till I opened the box. Just a side note, don’t get brake cleaner on the sprue plate if you like the black paint.
Due to the price of primers, warning shots will no longer be given!

    Wasalmonslayer,
Can you ask Jared what the coating is on the Sprue Plate?
I am assuming it's a spray on Mold release, or maybe High heat engine paint? Or something else.
    I'm just curious
    Thanks,
    Jon

Looks like I'm the only one who wanted brass. This is my first mold. The poor lighting and phone camera don't do it justice. It'll be a while before I can use it. I need to get a barrel for my TC contender yet.

I was able to cast for a hour or so Monday night before hitting the road again.

Took me a while to get it to drop a nice bullet. I think I was rushing it. I was a lil excited new mold and all.

But after a couple hose outs and good nylon bristle. Seems to like hot lead and high temps. When I dropped back down I was gettin wrinkles. brush scrubbin it was dropin nice frosty boolits.

I added a lil tin and fluxed it twice, but it made no difference.

This was a 60/40 WW/soft lead with about a ounce of tin. (Ten pound mix. )

Nice lookin boolit. THANK YOU AGAIN!!

I got mine on Monday, and cast about 100 of them yesterday. They do like to cast hot, but, got good ones from the start w pre heat of the mold on the hot plate. Cast with straight range scrap from a local PD range. Got to wait about a week to test them in my Blackhawk Hunter.

I cast some yesterday, using straight COWW with PID set to 660º. mold preheated once.
Like many new molds, It took 20 minutes of casting to get the mold to settle in (lots of culls during that period).
The results (measurements) were right on target at .412 and 217gr.
