    MP 462 Hammer HP mold

I am thinking of picking this mold up fro Mihec, how does it perform in the 1895 Marlin GG?
Any problems or issues I should know about?

    Thank You

It looks like it should work just fine. All of Miha's molds are well made and easy to cast with. When I saw the "462 Hammer" I was thinking of the 462560 Lyman. That would be a beast in the 45/70.

Thank you, it throws I believe a 330 grin HP, I'm going to send him an Pm to see if he has any left, I found the Group buy two years too late. HaHa. Just want to make sure it will work in the Marlin before I purchase the mold. I've read all the posts about it but few have actual info on the Marlin.

With a large HP mine will throw about 300 grains with 50/50 alloy. Used it in a number of .45 calibers, three different 45-70's, 45-90, 458 Lott. alox/beeswax or PC, all with a gas check. It worked, just ok, I have had better performance with the Lee 405 grain in the Marlins.
