I have 2 dedicated .380 molds - the Lee .356-95 RF and the Lee .356-102 RN. Both of these work well enough but I can occasionally find that one odd project pistol that demands a different COL from all the others when using these molds. Then comes the Lee .358-105 SWC pattern. This is the mold I first used in my .380 handloading and found it to be completely reliable for feeding up with every pistol I have used it in. I load this boolit with just a thumb nail thickness of the forward shoulder out of the case and charge the rounds with appropriate powder levels for the weight of the boolit. Against all the odds, I size these at .358 and am still waiting to have a tie-up with the cartridge loading into any pistol. Lee offers this mold (as well as the others I mentioned) in the 6 cavity blocks. I suspect with the proper COL any of these mold patterns will work for you. As for me, I'll stay with the .358-105 SWC.

    380 MOLD - what’s your choice?

I use the Lee stable of .380
Boolits (all have been mentioned in the previous post), and find them all to work very well. I have had no need for others.

Mine? A 10 cavity Hensley & Gibbs S55. It puts out a TON of bullets. It has to. I shoot them in a MAC M11A1 380 sub machinegun with a ROF in excess of 1200 rpm..
Collector and shooter of guns and other items that require a tax stamp, Lead and brass scrounger. Never too much brass, lead or components in inventory! Always looking to win beauty contests with my reloads.

If you can find one, a Ranch Dog TL358-100-RF mould, and very sim. to NOE TL358-100-RF-BE2

If it was easy, anybody could do it.

This is what I’ll mention the next time I hear someone say, “can you shoot cast in that?”
I hope you have a progressive press.

You can, right now. Order it from Accurate. That is what I did.

The Lee tl356-95rf is basically the same boolit, and works wonderfully.

These 380 cal. Ranch Dog boolits drop about 104 grains, (say) 10 BHN air cooled from my alloy and 6-cav. mold, shoot to point of aim at 10 yards from a pair of Walther PPK, and "vaporize" with a satisfying "ping" when propelled into hardened plow disks.
If it was easy, anybody could do it.

Funny, my Taurus TCP shoots about 10” below POA no matter what you put through it. As long as you know that, you’re fine. Great little gun.

    I'm using a 6 gang Lee 356 95 gr RF.

Powder coated with Smoke4320's "Bacon grease" (color).
