When Cookin' Recipes have a time limit before they are deleted?

I just went to look for a sauerkraut recipe and noticed a lot of recipes have been deleted. When did this start having a time limit on recipes before they are deleted?

    Thanks,

Just type in sauerkraut in the search box up to the right. It will show archived threads.

My mom used to make sauerkraut.
And I remember the spanking I'd get for getting into it.
Smoked sausage and sauerkraut with mashed potatoes.

    Here are a couple:

    http://castboolits.gunloads.com/show...to-get-started

    http://castboolits.gunloads.com/show...ake-Sauerkraut

I found them by using the keywords,

    "sauerkraut recipe site:http://castboolits.gunloads.com".

The last part with the "site:" narrows the search to just his forum for the "hits". ( With the exception of "advertisements" for other sites...)

There are more in the search engine( I used Google this time) to see, but I just gave a couple & how to look to get ya started.

    G'Luck! & I hope this helps!

When Captain Cook was sailing around and exploring our sunny shores here in the Pacific Northwest part of their ships provisions were a large stock of barrels of sauerkraut. Each crew member would be allotted a portion to eat with their regular daily meal and not one single crewman contracted scurvy on Cook's voyages. It made up for the lack of fresh fruits and vegetables that caused the affliction. (So there is your "UBI" (Useless Bit of Information) for today!)
I may have passed my "Best Before" date, but I haven't reached my "Expiry" date!

Limey's.... Slang term for British Royal Navy Sailors who consumed the juice and flesh of limes , grown in the British Colonies , to ward off scurvy.
