    Anybody try the NEI 224-72-GC?

Was wondering if anyone's used this mold for their 22 cal shooter?

I thought it might paper patch up to use in a 22 HP, but other than that, no.

But you have the mold Bret? If so I'd like to try some. I'm hoping water dropped WW would be good for my new savage coming with a 1in9 twist.

Sure wished my Marlin 219 Zipper had a fast enough twist for this bullet.

Me too, but for a 1in12 AR.

Maybe we should put this in the boolet swap area.

Bullshop has that mold and sells the bullets on AuctionArms.

Pat, you might want to PM ANDREW375. He was playing with that boolit out of a 9" twist Savage .223 about a year ago and posted some very good groups. Like chewing the X-ring out of a smallbore target at 100 yds from prone. IIRC, he used 10 gr of Blue Dot but I don't remember the other specifics. That might stabilize out of a 12" twist if you get it going fast enough, Bullshop would probably know.

That's great news Rick cause I ordered the mold this morning. Just had a feeling it would kick some dragon in the 1in9 Savage...
