Not all kids are mindless idiots

A 12 year kid from Memphis Tennessee just built a nuclear fusion reactor in his home, tested it, achieved nuclear fusion and had the results verified by some nuclear scientists! The whole story is on Fox news! MAYBE there's hope yet for our Grandkid's generation! Let's hope he doesn't use what he learned to build a kitchen table A bomb next!

    Smart kids are like lawyers.
Sure there are some good ones, but the other 95% ruin it for the rest of 'em.

Now you did it. They don’t like when you point out their failures. Or to be reminded that they were the hippies and that the hippie’s kids are the current group of socialists that are at war w/ this country.

If you truly think the young are dumb and worthless I truly feel sorry for you. You’ve apparently forgotten this is what older generations thought of you when you were young and how you hated it. If the young were truly worthless things would have collapsed a long time ago.

Do not bet on a renaissance in generational wisdom. Yes, we failed in many ways, and were in charge of the brain-washing of the succeeding generations. So we are to blame just as much as any other generation(s). It is called human folly.

Not to take anything away from him, but it is a fusion reactor, not fission. HUGE difference!

jmort is dead right. The Lord said that we will reap what we sow. A very high percentage sat around and did nothing and the socialist took over the raising of our kids and grand kids. Too late now, it's all said and done.

Not all are dumber than dirt just most. And i don't think its there fault i believe it is by design. An ignorant population is easier to control. The libs control schools for a reason. And i must say no one thought i was dumb as a kid.

umm, fusion reactor = good, fission reactor = radioactive waste in barrels (what we have now).

anyone see the movie chain reaction?

I have never thought all kids were idiots, not during my younger years or at anytime since, but the percentages are just as high right now as they were during the Hippie heyday of the 60's.

All one has to do is listen to the younger crowd getting into politics to know that the percentages, at the very least are hanging in their. AOC anyone, but she is far from alone.

Don't take this wrong, attempting to show that there are "kids" out there with shooting in their blood.

Two of my 4 boys have their PHd's..... with another, working towards it. One is chemistry and the other is physics/math(graduated 1st team all American in sports AND academics). They've been shooting literally since diapers..... don't worry about the shooting sports. There's some good times ahead.

It requires fission reactions to create the material that is later used to make bombs.

This kid created a fusion reaction which, as mentioned above, is the holy grail. Frankly, I have doubts about him actually creating a sustainable reaction core but if he did, it has a ton of potential.
