    Hornady 38 cal pistol cups

A friend gave me a box of 500 Hornady 38 cal pistol cups.
I have no idea what they are used for.
    Thanks, Tom

Depending on length, they could be half, 3/4 or full jacket cups for making .357 bullets.

They're for swaging .38 caliber handgun bullets, like NoZombies says. Most of the Hornady cups I've encountered have been for half jacket bullets, as that style of bullet was quite popular when Hornady was selling the jackets.

    Hope this helps.
