    Bar solder

    50/50 (ww-pure), how much 50/50 bar solder should I add to get better fill out?

    2-4% solder should do nicely.

    3/4lb of 50/50 solder added to 20lb's of 50/50 coww/soft will give you about 2%tin, 1.5% Antimony & 96.5% lead.

    I've found that 1 to 2% tin cast great. Lyman #2 at 5% is a dream to cast with but with todays tin prices that much tin is not practical.
