    Walther lgu .22 first shots

just picked up this used one.i just put on an old 3-9 Airgun scope and got it on inside the house at 24 yards.just had time for one group after the zero as the family was almost home! anyhow with cheap crosman Wal-Mart tin premier it's looking good so far. Attachment 236185

5 more 24 yards after I disassemble the gun and re Lube to the spring with Molly and maccari heavy tar at the center. Vibration is gone and it shoots much smoother accuracy is unchanged.

it's getting boring at close range.i need the snow to stop so i can take it out to 50 yards and more.
this is another typical 24 yard five shot group.

Very accurate springer. Nice shooting. Hope the weather clears for you soon so you can really stretch it’s legs at longer range.

Nice gun but I wish it came with walnut stock, like the Air Arms guns.

Nice shooting, Harry. If you could, would you change anything about this gun btw?

alot of guys cringe at having way over $1000 into a spring gun.the amount of shooting you can do with one of quality more than pays for itself.i shoot mine a few times a week

Idaho Ron: Why did you use three sets of scope rings?

I wanted the strongest mount possible. I had a one piece UTG mount that I didn't know was giving me trouble. I knew I had trouble with the sighting system but I didn't think it was the mount. I replaced the scope last year and while the new scope was better than the old one I was still having trouble with the POI being off if I drove down rough roads. I switched to the BKL one piece mount and it has 4" of clamping surface. When I switched to the Tactical scope I knew it would be heavier. So I wanted the most clamping surface I could get. The triple mount was the largest I could fit on it. I have always tried to get the best mount I could for my center fire guns. I should have did the same with this gun in the very beginning. I love the set up I have now.
