    Please help ID Swaging Dies

Anyone have any idea what I have here? They came in a box of reloading dies I purchased online. They look to be for 6mm bullets but there don't seem to be any identifying markings as far as manufacture. And what the heck is the little wire looking deal that goes in the die in the middle. I am assuming there must be some pieces missing?Click image for larger version.

That wire looking deal is an ejector punch. It Pushes the bullet out of the point form die.

Is the outside threading on the dies 5/8 24?

Yes, I would guess that to be the thread size on the inserts. Thanks.

They probably fit a press like CSP 1 S. I think it was made to fit an earlier press, no longer built. the die is threaded on the press ram. The punch in the die is an internal punch, or ejection punch

The bullets are formed point down. And the ejection punch pushes the bullet out of the die as the ram comes down.

The other parts that look like standard reloading dies, threaded 7/8X14 are external punch holders.
They hold the punches that push the bullet into the die. Their functions are depth adjustment and self centering the punch.

Of the two dies, does the one with the large hole all the way through have a small hole in the side, possibly plugged with lead? If so it is a core size or "squirt" die Its function is to uniform your bullet cores by compression until lead squirts out the small hole on the side.

More likely that die is a core seat die designed to firmly seat the bullet core in the jacket.
