They're getting hard to find but if you run across an old SAECO powder measure at a tolerable price BUY IT! I've had one for 15 years and I love it. I have a Little Dandy and it is great for small charges. I also have an RCBS Uniflow, a Lyman 55 and Dillon progressive measures. The SAECO is the best on any size charge. The Little Dandy, Lyman and Dillon are about equal with most powders but with small charges of flat flakes, the oatmeal looking powders like Unique, the Dillon wins easily. On stick powders like H4895 the SAECO holds 0.1 grain tolerance. I find that a tap (or two taps) on the upstroke after dropping the last charge helps any rotary drum measure maintain consistency. Oh, the Uniflow? It's my least used powder measure. It's great for bigger charges of ball and flake powders but I'm most likely to load those charges either on a Dillon or on a single stage press using a Chargemaster 1500 to dispense powder. I only get +/- 0.2-0.3 grains with stick powders using the Uniflow.
