Lo and behold I found data for 275 Rigby right in my Lyman Manual for cast boolits. Now I can fire form my 7mm Ackley brass and use up this powder while enjoying some practice with pleasant shooting rounds.

I've seen good accuracy results with 1680 in a Ruger bolt-action 7.62x39 using Lyman #314299.
Well the 1680 worked great fire forming in the 7x57 improved! It is my wife's rifle and at 25 yards it made 1 ragged hole for a dozen shots, then at 200 yards she was hitting the steel chicken more times than not with about a 1 foot hold over. The pressure expanded the brass to nice sharp edges in the Ackley chamber.
135 grain round nose cast, 25.5 grains A1680
I have often wondered about a1680 in both 44 mag and 30-30. I don't have any to use up but have seen it. Thanks for this thread and all the info.
Bazoo
It is the only powder for 6.8mm SPC with J's as far as im concerned it tops all else for speed with light bullets.
1680 is my go-to in 7.62x39. Cast or J-Word, prefers J-word for a bit more velocity......
I bought a # of 1680 to try in the Blackout. Instead I tried it in 7.62x39 with 150 gr/.311” and at 40 yards accuracy on the first try is superb. This bears more scrutiny.
Works a charm in 7.62x40WT using Barnes data.
It ain't rocket science, it's boolit science.

Buncha 1680 under a 300 grain Hornady coated projie will send it downrange about 1100 fps.
I think it agreed with loads listed in "Castpics" though I developed it separately.
Gonna try it under the 320 Lee if I ever get around to casting up some!

A coworker shared an "AmmoLand" link yesterday and it had 1680 and 357 Mag Lever Action Carbine loads.
I'm thinking Clary was the author.
Sorry I deleted the link.

The Second there to protect the First!
+1 on 7.62x39 light loads, also used on subloads for .277WLV
It is my go to powder for 22 Hornet , 8x33 , 7.62x39 , 300 BO, even the 30 carbine works well with the 110gr Soft pts. .. I've thought about the 5.7x28, but its a bit slow.
TC44-14": 325 gr. fp, 22.6 gr. - 1680. Your mileage may vary.
It works really well in the .375 Win or similiar sized straight case rounds with medium weight bullets. Accurate 1680 is the perfect powder in the .375 Win with a paper patched Lyman 375249 at near 100% load density. 357 Max with 180's or heavier seems like a god application. Many possibilities.
