    22 cal bullit trap lead ?

    hey guys in a few weeks I,m going 2 b helping clean out a target shooters 22 cal target trap I have,nt seen it yet but I,m being told it has sand in the bottom of it their r prob 10 traps with a few thou pounds in them it,s been over 4 years with many clubs having shooting their any idea how the best way to tackle this and would this lead b close to pure like I said this lead is 100 percent 22 cal thank u ?

    I would expect those 22's to be soft. I would take several plastic buckets, a 2 wheel dolly, a flat point shovel and some kind of screen on a frame. And a dusk mast. Every trap is different. I used to mine one that was about as high as a bullseye shooter would hold a pistol and a short ladder was nice. I used a wheelbarrow to catch the sand that was sifted. Its a lot of work but can be rewarding!
