    45 Colt molds

Have a quick question.....I just got the RCBS mold, 45-250-FN It states, It's a 45 Cal 250 mold. ALL the boolits that come out is "260 to 263" ALL leads used. "Do I use the 250 data or 260 data?" Thanks

First that's a normal weight for that , even in a Lee ......
What gun ? Safe bet is to use 260 data . Ruger it probably doesn't matter . Start at the bottom of the 250/255 stop at the 260 max .

RCBS bases all of their cast bullet weights on linotype, so with any other alloy the bullets will be heavier in weight and smaller in diameter. I gave up on RCBS molds many years ago because in COWW they all ran undersized.
