Just ordered my first 10mm pistol

    Grand Power P40l 10mm 5" 14rd Gpp4010ml 10mm

Has gotten great reviews and rotating breech system is claimed to reduce recoil to hot 9mm levels.

Interesting. I'm not familiar with that brand of pistol. How's it shoot?

He won't be able to answer you, but the gun is made by Bersa. I have no experience with the Bersa brand, other than a couple coming through our handgun safety classes over the years and they were in the hands of new shooters. These were mostly 9mm handguns, though.

    Hope this helps.

Grand Powers are like Arex. Great reputations but very uncommon here

Bersa doesn't really get as much credit as they deserve. They're just seen as a cheap option or a beginner gun. They do make some really nice guns beyond their Walther PPK clones. I have a Thunder Pro UC, which I believe is also somewhat of a Walther design. It's a DA/SA double stack compact 9mm that can surprisingly hold 13+1 rounds. It has never failed to fire, and the accuracy is good. I think I paid $300 for it.
