    Remington 660 stuck safety

    I have a Remington 660 in 308. I am switching to California compliant non lead bullets so I decided to go through the rifle and start again. I removed the bolt and scope and barreled action from the stock. I did something. The safety is stuck on safe and bolt will not go into receiver. There is a pin that could interfere with the safety and I drifted it until the safety lever would clear. Any direction would be appreciated.

    Way to go. I couldn't picture your problem; it's been too long since I've had a 600 to comment on. They are great rifles. Did you know they were designed for offhand shooting?

    I have a number choices in hunting rifles but my 660 has been my go to for 30 plus years. 2x7 Leupold and 150 partitions just get er done. Every year some hunter approaches me and say he wishes he had a handy rifle like that.
