    It's shown as a 2cav in the 2019 Catalog.

Wonder how they're going to make that work.

I have an OLD #358439 1cav used to cast using 1/20 over a heavy load of Unique in a .38spl case. Great for Jackrabbits in a Colt Official Police.

Midway shows it coming in stock 3/7/2019. Lyman doesn't show it on their site. they do show # 358429 which is the solid nose .

I hope so . It should be good to duplicate the old FBI load in the 38SPL if it's cast soft.

I guess they are going to make them the old-fashioned way. A single cavity with A bottom pin. Pain in the butt to cast unless you have a Lyman mold guide on a Lyman casting pot.

It's a nice relaxing way to spend an afternoon if you ladle cast. You can make quite a pile of nice boolits and have a fun time doing it.

Lyman hollow point molds are the reason my Mag25 still has the Lyman mold guide.I've used Lyman hollow point molds since the late 50's and like them. All of the molds I use work with the Lyman guide.I use Ideal,Lyman,RCBS,and Saeco molds.

The 358439 is a great bullet, owned several different molds over the years. Finely sold my last mold awhile back on this website. Still use the cramer version of the 358439. It's the cramer #26

Some of the older 439 molds have a round grease groove, not square like Keith's original design. I have a NOS 358429 with the square groove I'm going to send out to Erik at Hollowpointmolds. I'm saving my pennies so I can send 3 out to him. I have 2 already; 429244 and 357446. They work great and I can actually cast HPs faster than solids because the boolits don't hang up in the cavities.

Beware the man that only owns one gun; he probably knows how to use it.
