WTS CVA Mountain Rifle Caplock .50 $100

put together from a kit by an uncle mamy years ago and has sat for years..not marked "Spain " so it may be one of the USA ones? bore seems fine (patches come out with no rust color and bore feels smooth)but probably isn't mirror perfect.
overall looks ok.i did bend the wedges to make I tighter in the stock though

    $100 with buyer paying shipping.

Congrats Chris! This is a real sleeper of a rifle. They were originally made in the USA and are excellent shooters with great accuracy. CVA had the later ones produced in Spain but they too were good. I have one, identical to this one and its accuracy is outstanding. I have considered selling mine since I have a couple of Lyman GPR's. But this one is very nice to pack through the hills, lighter in weight than the GPRs. Enjoy.

Have one of the originals. Wife gave it to me for Christmas. Shoots patched .490 round balls like a target gun. Won many pots at black powder shoots and killed many deer with it. To old to see sights clearly now but I refuse to alter it.
