Greetings, i have about 500lbs of reclaimed, cleaned and put into ingots. Where would be the best place to sell this at?

Swappin & Sellin forum, but read the rules before posting. If you want to get the best price, send a sample to member BNE to test what is in it and post the results in your ad.
When you care enough to send the very best, send an ounce of lead.

Thanks for the response brewer, but i dont think i can post there due to the rules about needing to have 30 posts. Any other places I should check?

Hang around here for a week or two and interact. You will have 30 posts.

Alternatively, you will find lots of similar listings on ebay.

Armslist sometimes is an option. I've sold a couple guns using it, and the only reloading store I know of semi local was found through there.

You could always participate in the forum until you have over 30 posts.

    Other options:
    Local Craigslist.
Ask around at local Bait and tackle shops and gun shops. Often they know people who cast sinkers or bullets.
Check with the local scrap metal buyers - as Lead is a commonly bought and sold metal.
Check with local tire shops and local Car battery distributors - as they may either buy or know people who buy lead locally

With the prices of shot now a days, next time you get that reclaimed stuff, sell it in shot form. Might make out better.

That's good stuff. If you've already melted, its worth less than if it was still shot.
But it will probably have antimony in it that will let it temper when water dropped and get about as hard as Chinese Algebra.

Buddy who sells range scrap ingots makes about $1/pound on e-bay and uses USPS priority mail boxes.

Good point about being better as shot. New shot around here runs $1.70/lb., shooters are happy to pay $1.40 for reclaimed.

The last reclaimed shot i bought was back around 2012 or 2013 paid 30 cent a pound but this was not cleaned. Bought 1000 pounds and ended up with close to 800 pounds once cleaned and put into ingot. Is really good stuff for casting mine ends up as 12 to 13 bnh after casting. But i will say cleaning and casting was a pain to say the least. I would have kept some but it was all small shot and i don't load anything under #4 buck. Unless its really clean i wouldn't want to shoot it in my shotgun.

Reclaimed lead shot cleaned and rolled with graphite sells for $1.25+ per pound now.
