    The one method I failed to include is to use a bronze bore brush slightly larger than the bore diameter. With the brush screwed into a cleaning rod, push the brush it into the remaining case and pull it back. The bristles will should catch inside the separated case and it pull it out.

    The chamber brush on Gi tools did and excellent job pulling separated cases from m 1as and garands. I have used bore brushes in the past to pull them also. Another way s to wrap a patch around the brush and push thru from muzzle the brush patch will catch the case and push it out.
