Unhappy Problems with Beeman Nitro pistol, .177

BENJAMIN TYPO I got this for $45 NIB, however after finally doing the recommend 250 round break in it won't shoot with any power at all. Half of the time a standard lead pellet won't exit the barrel, and when it does, it won't dent a pine board at 1' away. Is it bad or am i doing something wrong. I've cleaned it with the proper size rod, jag and patch using Hoppes#9. Getting disappointed.
