Got mine this afternoon. Now to clean it and get it ready to cast up some great looking boolits.

Got mine this afternoon. Can't believe how quickly it got here.
Show some cast boolits or molds if you guys don’t mind. When this is resurrected from the archives 10 years from now will surely help.

DHL was supposed to deliver yesterday but didn't. No email and they don't advertise their number. No information in tracking.
DHL is a step down from USPS.

Anyone get a chance to pour one yet?
DHL ended up sending mine via USPS once it got into Michigan but it arrived today a day earlier than projected.
Updated photo showing all accessories received. Another work of art as per usual.

WAAAAA! My mold is stuck in DHL HELL!
They emailed today to say my address of 20 years was no good. They won't deliver to a PO Box. There is a contact number but Not On Their Site. They will try again tomorrow but their english isn't good and it might be hopeless.

DHL 800 225 5345 They don't really speak english and got my additional information wrong. I looked up the time they were here yesterday and waited for an hour on the side of the road and GOT MY MOLD. I pointed out my mail box to the driver who was a native english speaker along with the fact that the mailbox numbers are not sequential and you have to LOOK.
One star for DHL. They should turn over local delivery to someone who knows the area, They are in San Jose and the closest dropbox alternative is 53 miles away.
THE MOLD IS ON THE HOTPLATE!

I would have been back sooner but you know I had to run the pot. Finished ahead of the stupid PG&E power shut down. May have to blow on the pot (ProMelt2). Here is the Penta. Mold runs like a dream.

The Alpha Hotels turned the power off to prove they could. I had the generator fired and the pot connected in minutes. I was at 300F when I put the power back. Seems to be OK. It's supposed to cool to 160F before you turn it off. (RCBS Pro Melt2)
The bullets Mic .4324"-.4326" from 95.5, 3.5,1 Alloy. Within .0005 across different axis all the way to the ogive. The mold fit is perfect and it ran Great first time out.
Anyway were running the Computer and Satellite on Gasoline. We'll see if homemade electrons are as good as Store Bought.

I had the opportunity to cast a few today. After a short bit of warm up I began getting good bullets. The OD of the bullets is .433", about what I expected. The gas check shank however measures between .417" to .419". The gas checks I have won't even come close to fitting. I have another gas checked mold from Accurate and the shank measures .400". It's about a perfect fit. What is everyone going to use for gas checks with these bullets? Any suggestions appreciated.
Take care,
Rick
I would love to size with the gas check in one step as I don't coat. The gas checks won't come close to going on the shank. The shank is about .017" too big.

I usually have the opposite problem with Gator checks. My mold comes in the mail today and I ordered the 434. Will share my experiences when I get some cast.

Looks like he only has the 2 and 4 cav available now. Here’s link to his website for them.

These do turn out nice, cast up some pentas and some solids and am very pleased. With my 4/4/92 blend the pentas came in right at 242gr and the solids at 251gr.
These will do some damage.
(Right one has been sized and checked with aluminum check)
Nice! I've got a scope coming to see how accurate these are.
Who made the gas checks and how did they fit? I was looking at that mold too.

Gas checks were made by me on a FreeChex III out of .014 inch aluminum I got off Amazon. The checks fit very snuggly and we’re almost impossible to install once both were powder coated. I may need to drop to a slightly thinner material or check before pc
If you want to shoot me a PM and I can throw some of the checks in the mail to you.
