    WTS...Lyman No.55 powder measure reservoir

I finally broke down and bought enough tubing to do the missing reservoirs on my 55's. i had to buy minimum 6 feet of tube, so now i have plenty left over. I any of you want or need a new or custom length powder tube, PM me with your specs. I have enough to do maybe 6 or 8 depending on the lengths. the tube is 2"OD x 1.75 ID (.125 wall) and can be lathe threaded if needed, 2"x 24 tpi. the bulk tube cost Me $.50 an inch.

    Edit add information:

The orange colored units are threaded, the Grey ones dont seem to be, I havent been able to get the only one I have apart. If anyone has one apart, I'd be interested in the method. i made one 5" and turned it with 24tpi and it fit the orange unit and looked great. 8" looked awesome for BP use.

I will cut to your desired length for $.50 per inch and thread for $5 each, shipping yet to be figured out, as these need some protection. I will look into the padded envelope.

    edit more info:
I finally got the grey measure hopper apart without ruining it, and it has an annular ring in the base to snap the tube over. Not so easy with the one I cut from the .125 tubing that I am using, had to heat it some but it will work, just had to be Careful...

Is this a drop-in replacement of stock threaded tube? how tall? how much?

** SFRB is 1 3/4" ID the tubes won't fit, BUT you can get padded envelopes for free online from USPS and make a box to go around the tube and put that in the envelope for the same price as a SFRB.

Gee, maybe I could use some taller tube. I have a older 55. how do you get the orig tube out of the measure?? is it screwed in or what. Then I can know if I need a threaded one.

    Mine is grey in color.

Hello, I would like one piece 2' in length or two twelve inch . I have shipped using carpet tube or using the old tri angular document shipper the USPS furnished. Two inch od unthreaded will be perfect for me....

Call or PM or message me at : 901-299-7846.

    Warmest regards,

    Ray Strong
