Lyman T Mag and T Mag II

Years ago I bought what I thought was a T Mag but was browsing the sales forum and noticed another for sale. The one for sale is different from mine, regular linkage like the older Spartan series, mine is compound linkage with two arms that pivot. Did the design change at some point. The turret attachment is the same, not the T handle like the T Mag II.

Possibly a Spar T press.Does the press sit angled to the rear when mounted on a bench?

Not a Spar-t, had one once. The difference from the one in the sales section is the linkage for the handle. The one in the ad looks like the Spartan linkage and mine looks like the Mag II linkage.

Hard to tell without a photo. The T-Mag has an orange frame with simple linkage and the T-Mag 2 has a charcoal grey frame with compound linkage if that helps.

    This is a SPARTAN-T

    This is a TMAG

The TII is a basically a new grey paint job.

Posting pic is beyond my technical skills. Now I am not sure what I have. Orange paint, T Mag II linkage and turret attachment like the T Mag. Oh well, Lyman strikes again. Suspect mine might be some sort of transition model between the T Mag and T Mag II. Not complaining, works as designed and has given me years of use and given the construction expect it will be in use by the grand kids.

There is a Tmag II that has compound Linkage and the easy change bolt. It’s orange and it should have the adjustable support stud in the back

Posting a pic isn't hard. If you look over to the lower right corner of this reply area you will see a GO ADVANCED button.
Click it. It brings up another place where you can do more than just write your post.
Scroll down, you will find a Manage Attachments button. Clicking this will bring up a window. in the upper right is a ADD FILES button.
This button takes you to the pics in your computer.
Find the pic you want to add select it then hit upload. If your pic is within the upload specs. If too big it takes forever to load.
    Then hit done.
