Heres 10 shots at 1000 yards from my suppressed M70 sporter .308W with 175 gr MK. That's a 99/5X BTW (score rings are same as NRA HP 1K target) with a 14" group......

WELL, he did type "boolit"
For me, it is the Lyman 311466 and 24 grains of 4227.
This powder oriented in the neck of the cartridge and not
the base when target shooting. Go figure?
1 inch groups are common with this combo.
LC Match cases, CCI LR primer, Javelina Lube, Hornady Gas Check
Seated out to almost touch the rifling.
Please start at 20 grains of 4227 and work up as this powder
it very selective on what it wants.

I've noticed that a couple of posts state that the Lyman 311466 is a good design.Well, I've had one for sale in the S&S sub forum for several days now, and not one bit of interest! Perhaps my pics were too bad?
It's all chicken, even the beak!

It is an excellent and very accurate bullet both at "regular" cast velocity and at high velocity. I already have a 2 and a 4 cavity or I would be interested.......

Lee C309-170-F with a Vulcan aluminum gas check out of a 24" Remington 788 at 100 yards mixed range pick up brass. I found 5 pounds of Norma 200 on clearance at Sportsman's Warehouse so I'm working up loads. This one clocks in right at 2000 fps:
Norma 200 is very close to Reloader 7 in burn rate. 26.4g Rx7 gets me the same MV and just about the same accuracy. These groups are at only 50 yards so they should be about double the size at 100.
I also have the C309-113-F and C309-200-R and all three bullets are seated at 0.3" or right where the first lube groove is exposed. This puts the first driving band snug into the throat and lines up the bullets perfectly within the 788's barrel.
Mine prefers 185 gr Berger Juggernauts lol
