WTB Ruger SP101 hammer.

In search of a Ruger SP101 hammer. Having a tough time finding one.

I would be interested in either spur or spurless. Preferably the original design but will consider the MIM version. Beggars can’t be choosers!

Ruger part numbers: 289400 or 289380 (spurless)

Will pay $ or find a trade you would be interested in.

Ruger can't sell you one, or install one inexpensively?
Please tell me they can. I'm alarmed that Ruger has become a 'gun of the month club ' and does not service or support older models.

Ruger would install one at the factory if I were to send it in. They have always been excellent with repairs in my experience. I actually already have a hammer but I'm looking for a spare to swap with a smaller profile. I find evidence they have been for sale at some point but Numrich shows them out of stock:

Everything I read now says Ruger will not sell the part and requires it to be factory fitted.

I did find some parts on Ebay and will continue the search. Just hoping someone on here would have one laying around.

If you send it in Ruger will sell you the part, however, they will change any modified or non standard parts back to original. I picked up a used SP101 in a trade. It is double action only. I would like to have the single action parts, however, it was Mag-na-ported, trigger job and chamfered cylinders so no way I will send it back to them.
