Unfortunately, these are rare and getting rarer, especially the 8" varieties. EWK used to make barrels and shrouds but have been out of stock for years. Good luck in your search.

Will do! Did not know you had a Dan Wesson. When things got bad for me some years back I had to sell my frist year production 44 SS with heavy 8 inch barrel. Boy did that hurt.Originally Posted by rancher1913

I also have a DW 15-2 that I would like to find an 8" barrel shroud and nut for.
my dan wesson was the first gun I ever bought, think I had just turned 18 and couldn't buy ammo but I could buy all the stuff to make my own ammo. think mine is a late 70's era.

i bought my first DW which was a model 14 in 72 or 73. Cost was all of $80 if I remember correctly. ran a couple boxes of jackets through it and then nothing but cast boolits that a friend and work colleague cast and loaded for me. Had to sell it in 77 when i got orders to move to Germany. Wish I had never sold it. Bought my current DW which is a 15-2 a couple years ago. Believe it is from the mid-70's. have a 4 and 6 in barrel for it - would love to have an 8 inch.
Barrel I found was a 6 inch to replace the 2 1/2 inch that I do not like.
If someone offers you 14 6" Pork Chop shroud or 6" 715 that you don't want, send them to me please.

Also if anyone knows of someone who has a scope mount for a DW, I need one of those. Found a couple on fleabay but they wanted their weight in gold and would not respond to any questions I asked.
I picked up a DW pistol pac last year in 357 stainless, It came with five yes that's % barrels and it just so happen that I already had a Stainless DW with IIRC an 8". So now I have more less two pistol pac minus one belt buckle and one patch. When I brought it home I found some old DW sales flyers under the foam nice little freebie! But I still want to find a reasonable .357 Super mag in blue.

CZ still makes barrels and shrouds for the model 15-2. My buddy just got his last week. Blued and all.
