The holiday on Monday may cause a slight slowdown, but I expect that before next Friday we will hit 250.

Lakehouse2012, may thanks for running this GB. I don't ever remember one moving so fast. I honcho'd a few, and one I refunded everyone's money after 18 months and not getting the minimum orders. Honcho'n a GB is not fun, but work. Thanks again.

I am excited. I actually forgot all about this until LakeHouse pm'ed me. I am not excited about my wife finding out though. I still haven't told her and she hasn't asked where the money went.

I told mine right away and then told her how I missed when they were available before, what a good deal these are, complete with relative mold prices, followed by their advantages for shipping to fund my other reloading projects... eventually her eyes glazed over and I was home free!

Really looking forward to these coming in. I do a lot of scrap lead so the project of blending into usable or consistent alloys needed the new molds as a kick in the seat to get it moving. Another here that is impressed by all the work Lakehouse2012 has put in.

1) I paid the manufacturer this morning with everyone's money, so the clock officially started today for getting the dies made and casted.
2) This thread will be moving to the "closed- awaiting delivery" area.

Thanks to all of you for participating!! Now we have to wait a short bit and molds will arrive...

Yes, pics in post #1 are what we will receive. 2nd pic (while hard to see) shows the mold will cut the ingot inwards.

Thank you, Lakehouse. You put in a phenomenal amount of work here. This was not just a a matter of reordering a preexisting boolit design or punching in numbers on a template provided by a known mold maker, but was a build from scratch needing decisions on design, materials, and finding the manufacturer plus all the little essential details and kinks that you had to figure out and solve yourself. All this, and you did it fast and while dealing with stuff on the home front. Bravo, and a thousand thank you's from all of us.
