For anyone paying with a Money Order, as I receive them, I am updating Post #1 to reflect status. As of today's mail, I've received Hickory's and Rockrat's. So check the list to see your status and let me know if it should be different.

Do you think 8 molds will fit in a medium priority box?

What about 6 molds?I have been thinking of upping from 4, but hate to spend more on shipping. Never mind, I just sent 40.00 for 2 more molds, for a total of 6.

Hello Riffer-
It is too difficult for me to tell without knowing an address and how many molds you would like shipped. What I am willing to do, if you are; is pay me for the molds and once they come in, I will send to you via the cheapest method possible. I'll contact you at that time and you can send me a separate payment to cover that shipping.
Let me know if you would like to continue.
Lakehouse2012
Good morning,
I have to say a HUGE....THANK YOU!!!! To Lakehouse for all the hard work and skills at keeping everything straight
For those that are still on the fence.....you are going to end up with splinters......!!!
I have been casting for a long time 35+ years and one thing I have struggled with is alloy storage. I have angle iron ingot molds, corn cobs, triangle pans, Lee 3lb molds and tried muffin pans, and anything else I could think of nothing works like proper ingot molds.
The best system I saw was when I was 14 years old and just starting to shoot bullseye. We would do a huge smelt of lead every spring and one of the older guys had Lino molds. The long 1/2 tube kind. He had several, as in dozen. We would smelt several 1000’s of pounds and pour it into those long ingot molds. They would stack up like cordwood. IIRC they were about 20lbs each and the club had a 150lb casting pot and several 10 cavity H&G wadcutter molds and we wouldn’t cast huge piles of boolits, then as they got cool enough several lube sizers would be put to work and at the end of the weekend everyone that worked got a portion of boolits and the rest were purchased by the ones that couldn’t be available to help. As a young shooter I always had time but no money.....I didn’t even have a revolver of my own! I had to borrow one to use.....
I really like this forum as it reminds me of those times when everyone helped out with all the duties in the club. I am sure Lakehouse could have just bought a couple of milled ingot molds and called it done....instead he took it upon himself to make a bunch and solve everyone’s lead storage!!
Thank you!!!
