I have overfilled Lee molds to keep the individual ingots joined as you describe. Has some pluses and minuses. As you say won't ship as compactly and will take up more space with the joints between the ingots. Will save a fair amount of work labeling and spreading out the weight on a shelf isn't a bad thing.
Scrap.... because all the really pithy and emphatic four letter words were taken and we had to describe this source of casting material somehow so we added an "S" to what non casters and wives call what we collect.

Kind of hard to claim to love America while one is hating half the Americans that disagree with you. One nation indivisible requires work.

    Yeah, actually I do...

They wrote me tonight with tracking info and UPS says they are delivering tomorrow. However, it's being delivered to my place up-north, (I just moved 2 weeks ago) so Ive got a neighbor intercepting the packages and I'll drive up one night this week and pick everything up. You guys will have the molds very soon.

Too bad the UPS doesn't forward packages like the Post Office.

If I were a dog my tail would be wagging my whole rear end. Thanks again, Lakehouse, for making this happen.

Looks good I’m looking forward to mixing up my alloy for the year using these once it stops raining long enough to melt scrap outside.

The rear wagging dog is also salivating and jumping up and down (what a mess...).

Constructive observation: I was a bit concerned that the raised lettering in the molds would bind the cooling ingots, like my Lyman ingot molds, but this lettering looks too shallow for that (and the ingot weighing two and a half times the Lyman version probably helps).

Can’t wait to recast a bunch of ingots and scrap into consistent ingots and marking!

Are you going to post all the tracking numbers? JK lol
