    Blood Wolf Moon

Did anyone check this out last night up in the sky? Our old friend had a different look last night!
If you look at that, and don't believe in God, oh well you're just not paying attention.
Hip shot said that in an old Rick O'Shay comic strip- looking at the Rockies.

Wasn't really that clear for me, high think clouds in the way. Was cool looking, what I could see.

Lori and I went out every ten minutes or so to watch. We waited until it turned red and then packed it in for the night......I was a tad chilly out there.....

Crystal clear up here in NW GA and one of the colder nights of the year. I ducked out and sipped on some hot chocolate while watching it go through its changes. Very awesome and humbling. Makes me realize how small and insignificant we are in the grand scheme of things. Thank goodness for a loving family.

Yep it was really a sight to see as it was just coming up over the horizon .

It was actually a clear, cool (29 degrees) night here on my side of the Olympic Peninsula. It was beautiful and so were the stars and constellations. Such a clear night is an event around here and the eclipse was just icing on that cake. SWMBO got a great pic of the partial eclipse but she hasn't downloaded it yet.

Snow threatened and visibility was less than a mile. No joy for us.

It's not really red. It's more of an orange.
    But it was different.

One of the most endearing sights in the world is the vision of a naked good-looking woman leaving the bedroom to make breakfast. Bolivar Shagnasty (I believe that Lazarus Long also said it, but I can't find any record of it.)

    Hi...
I walked out on the deck to see the eclipse.
IIRC,. 5°F and -15°F wind chill.
It was neat to see but I was happy to go back inside and sit in front of the fireplace.

I looked, but only saw clouds. I would have liked to see it.

It was interesting in SE NM. Just before totality it looked like a sky from a Sci-Fi movie. The part of the moon in eclipse looked like a separate moon in front of the fully illuminated portion, like we were seeing 2 separate moons.

I love how now days they make up these crazy names; it was just another moon eclipse! I recorded "Blood Moons" before they ever were called that! The moon is always blood red at full totality!!!!
In NEPA weather was very overcast! Cancelled all observing parties!
