wanted to buy / any machinist here?

I need an adapter made for my can. 5/8-24 id to 1/2-28od drilled for a 30 cal. Anyone want to make a few bucks. I see them on line but they want like 50 bucks for them. Id rather give the money to someone here. Ive got lots of pure lead to trade too if youd rather have that.

I don't know how to tell you this, other than to just be blunt. 5/8" is larger than 1/2", or 0.625">0.500". Sorry, I thought you should know.

The female side will be 5/8 with a smaller male threaded piece in 1/2.
The hole will be drilled for a .30 bullet.
I’m sure he knows that 5/8 is bigger than 1/2.

Sorry. ID and OD have very specific meanings to me. I thought it may have been a gag.

I thought the sizes were odd, until I figured that the can has female threads, 5/8-24, while the barrel has 1/2-28 threads
