    Ruger SP101 9mm moon clips

Can anyone recommend a source for good, reasonably priced, moon clips for a new Ruger SP101 in 9mm. I ordered the gun from Bud's Gun Shop and have been looking online for reasonably priced moon clips. Most that I see run about $5.00 a pop, which seems kind of high. Some of the online sources indicate that moon clips are not interchangeable between the original 9mm SP101s and the current production.

    Thanks,

    Gus Youmans

Go to Ranch Products. I bought 50 for very little. Call them. They are nice to deal with.

That’s a cool toy! Colt did a 45acp years ago and then someone made rimmed 45acp so you could get away from moon clips. I have a few 45acp rimmed cases!

I'll be at SHOT next week, and I always stop in at Ranch Products booth. Good folks, and always good to deal with. PLUS,, I have MANY of their moon clips. Good quality!

I have a Taurus 9mm and got some moon clips from TK here is the link to the one that will be for your gun https://www.tkcustom.com/products/ru...1x5-9mm-032-ss. They work good for me then the one that came with the gun. They do not bend or anything.

I’d definitely check out Ranch Products, and add in Speed Beez as well. Both are reasonably priced, I’m using both brands between my 625, 627, and GP100.
